Conference Scientific Advisor
The Conference Scientific Advisor position is a full-time role based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish guidelines for company-wide events to enhance a professional image of a global academic publisher.
- Monitor the online resources to check the updates on suspicious conference organisations.
- Apply to join key authoritative organizations and advocate for MDPI events.
- Establish a scientific committee for conferences, composed of external scholars, to provide suggestions and maintain ongoing relationships through regular meetings.
- Conduct interviews with attendees, chairs, speakers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) involved in the conference, and generate content, including qualitative and quantitative analysis reports on conference-related topics.
- Provide support in resolving regional PR issues, if applicable.
- Develop strategies and propose potential solutions to enhance the growth of the conference team.
- Involve in organizing the World Sustainable Forum (https://sciforum.net/event/wsf-10).
Job Requirements:
- PhD holder
- Published scientific papers
- Attended academic conferences
- Good at copywriting
- Outgoing
- Experiences in organizing academic conferences is preferred
